Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, the following :
- Understand customers strategic needs and pain points at global, regional, and business unit levels and advocate on their behalf within the business.
- Secure delivery of the Danfoss Drives value proposition based on customer insights and needs.
- Develop, strengthen, and maintain customer relationships with key decision makers in procurement, engineering, product management and marketing to ensure alignment to strategic plans for customers.
- Communicate voice of customer to Drives BU’s Product Management to consider for inclusion in product development and portfolio roadmaps.
- Drive execution of the Key Account Plan in regions through engagement with applicable regional sales organization on topics such as opportunity pipeline, customer satisfaction, digital commerce, and challenges including risk management.
- Negotiation and responsibility for pricing and agreements with customer.
- Travel as required both domestic and international (25-50%).

Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or business.
- 7+ years’ experience in international sales to large, global OEM’s.
- Experience working with different cultures.
- Experience leading multi-function teams in global projects.
Preferred qualifications :
- MBA preferred.
- Understanding of or experience with Danfoss Variable Frequency Drives portfolio.
- Experience in formulating business cases and growth strategies.
