JOB SUMMARY :
The Administrative Assistant in CCIT Customer Services plays a pivotal role in supporting the Associate Vice President and the department's operations.
This position is integral to the smooth functioning of the department, ensuring efficient administrative processes and customer satisfaction.
Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES :
40% - Essential - Administrative Support : Provide comprehensive administrative support to the AVP and departmental staff.
Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments, booking travel arrangements, reimbursement processing, and purchases. Assist IT Customer Service Team managers with tasks, as needed.
25% - Essential - Operations : Assist the Business Manager with records keeping as well as tracking of purchases and deployed inventory.
Serve as area timekeeper. Order office supplies and manage front office operations. This includes but not limited to accessing Buyways for ordering.
Record and process all receipts and p-card transmittals. Maintain the company P-card and monthly statements.
10% - Essential - Vehicle Management : Maintains area State vehicle needs. This includes, but not limited to, monthly mileage reports, scheduled maintenance, insurance renewals, and gas receipts.
Track and schedule all maintenance of department owned vehicles. Maintains the departmental parking passes, keys to all vehicles, and a log of drivers.
15% - Essential - Safeware Processing : Assist with managing and processing Safeware claims, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
Work with outside vendors to approve claims for Clemson staff to repair computers, along with sending customer hardware to outside repair centers.
Properly record and document all transactions so that staff, the customer, and the accounting team are all aware of the claim status.
10% - Essential - Communication : Facilitate communication within the department and with external stakeholders. Assist in coordinating departmental events and meetings.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS :
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Proficiency in office software and technology system

COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Expected Salary Range ($ 32,686.00 - $ 40,000.00)
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's .

Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
