What You’ve Accomplished

You have completed a BS in Mechanical Engineering. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in an engineering role for at least 5 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

Who You Are

You may have also acquired the following skills :

• Experience working in the nuclear industry.
• Background in the development of field tooling, including underwater tooling applications.
• Generic knowledge of commercial nuclear reactor disassembly, reassembly, and fuel handling activities.
• Experience working with SolidWorks and / or SmarTeam applications.
• Experience working with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Project.

As an Engineering Supervisor in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Outage Services Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit.

Your work will include :

• Supervising a team of engineers that perform the following :
• Design of specialized tools to be used in PWR and BWR plants, specifically for reactor disassembly / reassembly and fuel movement.
• Perform non-routine and varied engineering assignments typically in the area of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks and resolution of field problems.
• Ensuring compliance with government, organization, and customer engineering standards.
• Ensuring on time completion of engineering products and projects with the highest level of quality.
• Independently evaluating, selecting, and applying a variety of technical techniques, procedures, and criteria to ensure the successful completion of engineering projects.
• Preparing and reviewing design specifications, calculations, test requirements, and associated reports.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $95,000 - $129,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits.

Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
