Kelly is hiring for a Human Resources Generalist in Portland, OR!- Direct hire opportunity- Salary range : $62,000-$65,000- Full time, Monday-Friday- Onsite position - Excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, employee discounts, and 401k with employer match!*SUMMARY*The HR Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

In addition, the HR Generalist will assist HR Manager.* Enters, maintains, and processes information in the payroll system* Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions* Reconciles payroll to the general ledger and monthly bank statements* Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.

  • Records and processes federal and state payroll tax deposits.* Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.* Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave;
  • disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale;

occupational health and safety; and training and development.* Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and / or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.*QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field* Minimum 3 years of human resources experience* Payroll experience required* ADP experience required*If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the above qualifications, apply to this posting today for immediate consideration!*#CB #P1
