Sea Pointe Construction is an Orange County design & remodel company looking for an experienced residential remodeling designer who is awesome at working with clients to design kitchens, bathrooms and whole home remodeling.
Our Design Consultants work directly with our clients to sell, budget, design and coordinate all our our remodeling projects.
This role is responsible for designing and drafting detailed space plans, cabinet layouts, electrical layouts, tile selections and drawings, and all finish materials.
We are seeking someone who is excited and passionate about interior construction with a love for sales.
What you’ll do :
- Lead the client through the home remodeling process including project managing the architectural plans, structural engineering, interior space plans, cabinetry and finish material selections.
- Design and draft detailed, technical cabinet space plans & elevations, tile layouts, electrical plans, and job scopes
- Get clients excited! Our jobs to make the remodeling process easy and fun for our clients - it's a big investment!
- Maintain a client’s desired budget throughout the design and material selection process.
- Partner with our estimating and production team members to execute the project construction.

- Enjoy sales. The Design Consultant role is ultimately 50% sales and 50% interior design management, so selling our design and construction services is key.
- An exceptional communicator. You deliver your thoughts clearly, concisely, and confidently.
- Highly analytical and strategic. Your problem solving skills are unparalleled.
- A self-starter who loves collaboration. You’re comfortable working independently as well as influencing team members and clients.
What you’ll need :
- 3-5+ years of experience successfully working on residential remodeling projects including kitchens and bathrooms.
- Design software skills such as Chief Architect, AutoCAD, Sketch-up, etc.
- Previous kitchen & bath design / or construction experience.
- CIDA accredited and / or ASID member a plus!
- Strong construction problem solving skills. We learn something new on the jobsite every day!
- A willingness to work hard and play harder! We crave happy, positive attitudes.
