POSITION SUMMARY :
Provide user support in the Information Technology Department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ability to troubleshoot and design / understand wireless and wired networks.
- Provide user and site support on networking issues.
- Ability to terminate cable ends.
- Ability to understand and accurately estimate network cabling pathways and distances.
- Advanced understanding of OSI network model.
- Advanced understanding of 802.11 wireless networks and their design.
- Advanced understanding of OSPF
- Familiarity with Fortinet Products and controls.
- Familiarity with Aruba switches, Access points and control software a plus
- Detailed understanding of IP network routing and switching.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
A BA / BS degree and / or CCNA / Net+ Certification and six years experience in IT service and technology.
COMPUTER SKILLS :
Inventory Control Software, Internet, Microsoft Office Products
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and will occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Office environment with dealership visits. Might require travel up to 30%. Rotating weekend and off hours on-call duties with additional compensation.
