The FacilitiesTechnician monitors and maintains utilities and processes equipmentfollowing standard procedures requirements and safety policies.
Follows welldefined instructions to maintain troubleshoot andrepair utilities and process equipment while optimizing theutilization of facilities.
Job CoreResponsibilities :
- Plansorganizes and prioritizes work activities and duties in order tomaintain facilities.
- Inspects repairs replacesservices and maintains existing electromechanical.
- Conducts electrical systems conduit runs including lightand power circuits motors control equipment light fixtures andpanels.
- Understands and follows safetyprocedures maintenance instructions manuals blueprints electricalschematics and assembly diagrams.
- Ensures thesafe usage and disposal of hazardous materials according to safetyprocedures and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
- Maintains necessary records / documents of workperformed.
- Follows all safety policies andprocedures.
- Other responsibilities asassigned.
- Regular consistent and punctualattendance is required. May need to work nights and weekendsvariable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.
JobSpecifications
Education : A SecondaryCertificate / High School Diploma or equivalent combination ofrelevant education and work experience that will allow successfulperformance of job expectations.
Certifications : Vocational trainingapprenticeships or the equivalent experience in a relatedfield

Experience : 2 years or more ofrelevant experience

- Working knowledge ofelectromechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to recognize and solve typical problems fromestablished operating procedures and / or scientificmethods
