The Department of Psychology at The University of Alabama invites applications for a full-time instructor position to start August 16, 2024.
These are 9-month, non-tenure-earning, renewable appointments of up to three years. Renewal is based upon satisfactory performance review, staffing needs, and funding.
- The positions involve teaching several courses each semester and advising undergraduate students. Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in psychology or a related field;
- experience in teaching undergraduate psychology courses. Preferred qualifications include a PhD in psychology or related field;
experience in teaching neuroscience, statistics, introduction to psychology, and a variety of courses; and experience with undergraduate advising.
