Overview
The Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for facilitating and executing work that supports and optimizes internal and external communications driving Onyx’s brand identity, thought leadership, creative voice, and experience across multiple channels.
As Onyx desires to enhance our corporate communication strategy, this role will be a critical partner in up leveling our content, messaging, frequency and targeting to key audiences both internally and externally.
A member of the Marketing team, this role acts as a liaison linking cross-functional teams to drive communications planning, alignment, and efficient execution, and content performance across both client and prospect audiences.
Though this role reports into Marketing, they play a pivotal role in aligning across business units, particularly Client Management, Commercial, HR, Product, Technology and others.

Roles / Responsibilities
- Contribute to and execute the corporate and client communication strategy, aligning with company goals, including self-service customer content enablement and educational content.
- Aggregate and maintain inputs for strategy and content planning, including audience insights and messaging.
- Enforce standards for brand voice, tone, and plain language and influence others to adopt them.
- Provide operational support for content creation and strategy, managing workflows, schedules, and deadlines.
- Manage multiple communications projects from briefing to completion, ensuring timely deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, anticipating roadblocks and crafting agile solutions.
- Identify and secure necessary resources, both internal and external, for all marketing communication projects.
- Keep project members accountable for their deliverables and timelines, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Facilitate meetings, create briefs, and provide effective reporting within existing frameworks and new methods.
- Collaborate with external partners and internal colleagues to complete projects within budget and timing goals.
- Perform data analysis through a business and marketing lens to create recommendations and report on content measurement using web analytics and other tools.
Qualifications
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience or similar role in corporate marketing, content marketing and communications and / or creative agency experience
- Three (3) plus years of B2B marketing experience
- Demonstrated impeccable experience in writing and editing
Preferred :
- Related market / industry experience is desirable this includes but is not limited to hospitality, travel, meetings & events, and payments industries.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
- B2B tech marketing experience preferred
- Experience with social media listening tools
