Finish Carpenter Position Overview :
We are seeking a talented carpenter specializing in intricate millwork, encompassing woodwork, casework, cabinet installation and possibly ornamental metalwork.
Key Responsibilities :
- Proficiently install AWW, PL, and Metal casework, as well as fume hoods, DFH, and miscellaneous specialties.
- Cabinet installation
- Bathroom partitions
- Trim work, countertops, stairs
- Conduct thorough preplanning, including assessing necessary tools, materials, and installation techniques for optimal efficiency and safety.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous experience in casework, plastic laminate applications, and architectural millwork.
- Experience in cabinet installation and counter top
- Finish carpentry experience- wall panels
Carpenter Knowledge / Skills :
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints.
- Possession of personal tools including power tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Commercial experience
Minimum Requirements :
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience as a finished carpenter.
- Must have Tools for the trade- we have a list that will be presented.
Physical Requirements :
- Capable of climbing and maintaining balance on ladders and scaffolds.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.
- Manual dexterity to handle and manipulate objects.
- Good vision (either natural or corrected).
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
