Description and Requirements

As a member of a global HR team, this opportunity is for a HR Partner to support the World Wide Intelligent Device Group CPC organization.

This is an exciting role which will primarily support the US leaders of WorkStation Business and Commercial Product Management.

The role will provide visibility and influence of employees at several levels in the organization and will work collaboratively with both our team and with the corporate HR centers of excellence.

The role will also provide HR guidance and support at the local and country level for other IDG organizations when needed.

Role Responsibilities :

  • Provide strategic advice and counsel on organization and people issues, based on an understanding of the organization's strategy, objectives and priorities.
  • Develop and present proactive strategies or initiatives, based on existing internal policies and guidelines, which address specific business needs.
  • Escalate new initiatives which may require discussion and approval at higher organization levels, or could be applied as a model’ for other departments within the organization.
  • Leverage the corporate guidelines and your best practices, provide operational and HR Partner support to execute the annual programs and processes not limited to annual compensation management, setting Key Performance Indicators (KPI), recognition programs, and talent management.
  • Take point on or support employee relations cases using both our tools / process, and your past experiences to ensure that managers have an advisor, while both they and employees have an advocate who ensures fairness and equity across a variety of situations including performance improvement plans.
  • As the HR project manager, implement HR projects in assigned organizations, with direction from HR management, establishing / maintaining project timelines, creating / following processes, crafting communications and providing support.
  • Work independently with key stakeholders in culture promotion including coaching managers in post annual employee survey action planning and identifying new opportunities where HR can add value to the business.
  • Track headcount and labor cost budget management to ensure accuracy and accountability to business unit KPIs
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications :

  • 5+ years above of proven Human Resources experience, ideally in a high-tech or high-growth business with global reach
  • Prior experience working with teams across multiple geographies. Must be willing to adopt a flexible time schedule and work style to meet the needs of a complex and matrixed global organization.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated ability to inspire senior level customers globally to adopt best practices in HR
  • Ability to guide leaders through organizational effectiveness, design and change initiatives.
  • Emerging strategic thinker with a focus on building the case for data-driven decisions
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset to streamline processes where possible
  • Independent yet an enthusiastic and motivated team player, strong ownership
  • Proactive, self-motivated, customer-focused and solution-oriented.
  • Mandarin speaking are preferred but not required
