Growing full-service firm looking to add a talentedBridge Project Manager to their Pittsburgh team!
Responsibilities :
- Project engineering duties for the Transportation group (design, structuralanalysis, survey, environmental assessment, inspection, and site walks)
- Provide technical oversight (manage design / documentation process, analyze,correlate scientific / engineering data, identify problems / solutions)
- Participate in strategic planning for bridge / transportation group
- Complete administrative duties (develop, communicate and track workflowtasks, scheduling, quality assurance / client standards, and ensure documentationis consistent with project plans and within scope / budget)
- Assist with the development andoversight of project scope, schedule, and fees for new projects and additionalscope / services requested by clients
- Assist with business developmentincluding site visits, letter of interest preparation, participation intechnical societies, and client meetings
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred
- 7+ years of Bridge Construction design experience
- Pennsylvania PE License
- Bridge Inspection Certification (CBSI) and or experience preferred
- Knowledge of AASHTO / PennDOTpolicies / standard procedures (for the analysis, evaluation, and design ofvarious bridge types)
- Experience performing bridgeassessments / inspections preferred
- Experience delivering PennDOT / PTCprojects, City of Pittsburgh DOMI and Allegheny County preferred
- Extensive experience with preparingbridge construction drawings, calculating bridge rebars and bridge quantities
- Proficient in MS Office (Word andExcel), AutoCAD, Microstation and PennDOT design software programs
Salary is commensurate with experience.
