Responsibilities :
- Projectengineering duties for the Transportation group (design structuralanalysis survey environmental assessment inspection and sitewalks)
- Providetechnical oversight (manage design / documentation process analyzecorrelate scientific / engineering data identifyproblems / solutions)
- Participatein strategic planning for bridge / transportationgroup
- Completeadministrative duties (develop communicate and track workflow tasksscheduling quality assurance / client standards and ensuredocumentation is consistent with project plans and withinscope / budget)
- Assistwith the development and oversight of project scope schedule andfees for new projects and additional scope / services requested byclients
- Assistwith business development including site visits letter of interestpreparation participation in technical societies and clientmeetings
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in CivilEngineering
- Masters degree in Civil Engineeringpreferred
- 7years of Bridge Construction designexperience
- PennsylvaniaPELicense
- BridgeInspection Certification (CBSI) and or experiencepreferred
- Knowledgeof AASHTO / PennDOT policies / standardprocedures (for the analysis evaluation and design of variousbridgetypes)
- Experienceperforming bridge assessments / inspectionspreferred
- Experiencedelivering PennDOT / PTC projects City of Pittsburgh DOMI andAllegheny Countypreferred
- Extensiveexperience with preparing bridge construction drawings calculatingbridge rebars and bridgequantities
- Proficientin MS Office (Word and Excel) AutoCAD Microstation and PennDOTdesign softwareprograms
Salaryis commensurate withexperience.
