A fast-paced and mission-driven law firm in Charlotte, NC is seeking a dedicated Bilingual Associate Immigration Attorney.
The role focuses on representing individuals and families in complex immigration cases, including Crimmigration and personal injury matters.
The ideal candidate will have experience in immigration law, strong advocacy skills, and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of the Latino immigrant community.
This is an on-site role with relocation bonuses available for qualified candidates.

Duties :
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and motions.
- Provide written analyses of legal issues to support immigration cases.
- Interact with clients to gather case information, provide updates, and address concerns.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials, and argue motions on their behalf.
- Manage and organize case files, maintaining documentation, deadlines, and communication with involved parties.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop legal strategies and prepare cases.
- Provide legal advice to clients under the guidance of experienced attorneys.
- Stay updated on changes in immigration law and participate in continuing legal education.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements :
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in immigration or Crimmigration law.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Successful completion of the bar exam.
- Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure while managing multiple cases.
- Experience with immigration court proceedings, including asylum cases and removal proceedings, is highly desirable.
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications :
- Active and good-standing membership in the American Bar Association (ABA).
- Successful completion of the state bar exam.
