Job Description :

The Springs at Happy Valley seeks a dedicated and professional Staff Development Coordinator that is first and foremost welcoming to others and tenacious for quality.

You will be a critical team member responsible for attracting, identifying, and hiring top talent for our brand-new community.

This position has 3 primary purposes :

  • Recruitment : Drives recruitment process for all departments, determining hiring needs of each department, assisting with screening, interviewing, onboarding, running background checks, creating job posts, managing applicants in ATS, teaching new employee orientation, hosting hiring events and info sessions, and following up with new hires to ensure pre-service training is complete.
  • Engagement : Being present on the floor, focusing on building genuine connections with team members, to foster an environment that is welcoming and supportive.

Coordinates employee engagement events to promote our Team Springs culture.

Development : Promotes, leads and delivers employee development classes and collaborates individually with staff and their managers to help create a growth and succession plans.

Qualifications :

  • At least 1 year of experience in full-cycle recruiting.
  • Comfortable with public speaking, giving presentations, and teaching.
  • Approachable; have a coach / mentor approach with the goal of helping employees problem solve.
  • Ability to build and maintain healthy relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and foster teamwork.
  • Recognize the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments and be flexible in meeting business needs.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, electronic, or schedule form.
  • Proficient PC skills including e-mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Bilingual a plus (Spanish & English).
