Job Description
The Office Program Coordinator is responsible for program management in maintaining consistency in the provision of supports and services to individuals in service and in communicating with staff and team members.
This position is also responsible for expediting the general flow of matters pertaining to the office including, but not limited to, typing and general office / clerical duties.
This position should assist in direct training, follow up, and coaching with staff, keeping the supervisor informed at all times.
The Office Program Coordinator works closely with the Program Directors and Director and also maintains direct communication with the Nurse, Office Manager and maintenance.
The Office Program Coordinator has the responsibility to coordinate a variety of services including but not limited to : program implementation, individual finances, and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Prior education and / or experience in administrative support duties preferred.
- Must possess a sincere desire to provide service and support to persons with developmental disabilities.
- Must be responsible, reliable, and able to carry out job functions independently without ongoing supervision.
- Also must possess all of the following : the ability to make sound judgments when given guidance and priorities; ability to work as a team member to maintain consistency and quality in services;
- ability to exchange support, constructive criticism, and ideas with other staff members and relevant professionals; flexibility in working various days, hours, sites and with various individuals;
adaptability to change; ability to assist in maintaining efficient office operations; previous computer experience.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as general office technologies.
