IT Project Manager

Overview

Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking an IT Project Manager to support our team in a hybrid role at the Y12 Complex in Oak Ridge, TN.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and directly managing technology projects, ensuring cybersecurity is integrated to protect the organization’s critical infrastructure and assets, reduce risk, and meet organizational goals.

This role involves tracking and communicating project status and demonstrating project value to the organization.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have a DOE Q Clearance.
• Knowledge of operational planning processes.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and IT security principles, practices, and requirements.
• Knowledge of requirements analysis principles and practices.
• Knowledge of IT architecture models and frameworks.
• Knowledge of system life cycle management principles and practices.
• Knowledge of technology procurement principles and practices.
• Knowledge of cloud computing principles and practices.
• Knowledge of the acquisition life cycle models and frameworks.
• Skill in performing capabilities and requirements analysis.
• Skill in performing administrative planning activities.
• Skill in communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Skill in performing needs analysis.
• Skill in team building and leading integrated product teams.
• Ability to identify critical technology procurement requirements.
• Ability to conduct audits.
• Ability to identify and document supply chain risks for critical system elements.
• Ability to define and manage day-to-day performance of operating-level agreements (OLAs) and service-level agreements (SLAs) within the authorized limits of a Project Manager.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience delivering cloud enabling capabilities.
• 5-10 years of project management or similar experience overseeing technology projects.
• Knowledge of Project Management methodologies.

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience in a technical field (Compensation will be based on education and experience, with technical field experience weighted more heavily than minimum :

• PhD and limited experience or master’s degree and 2 to 5 years of related experience or bachelor’s degree and 5 to 10 years of related experience or associate’s degree and 10 to 15 years of related experience.
• PhD and 2 to 5 years of related experience or master’s degree and 5 to 10 years of related experience or bachelor’s degree and 10 to 15 years of related experience or associate’s degree and 15 to 20 years of related experience.

Recognized as an expert in their field.
