Job Description :
- Act as the primary HR contact and trainer for HRIS-related issues for administrative users.
- Manage HRIS support functions, including system design modifications, implementation, troubleshooting, security, and user training.
- Participate in meetings with management and staff to review current systems, analyze policies, and propose enhancements for resource optimization.
- Research, identify, and report on HR trends, metrics, and data; provide standard and ad-hoc reports to end users.
- Investigate and implement key self-service modules within the HRIS.
- Serve as the HRIS subject matter expert and primary point of contact.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees across all locations.
- Adhere to safety protocols in all activities, promoting a secure and healthy environment.
- Manage domestic and international benefits, including health, life, AD&D, disability, retirement plans, and ancillary benefits like FMLA and COBRA.
- Ensure compliance with all benefits and retirement plan regulations and required filings, such as 5500, 1099HC, and EEO-1.
- Collaborate with brokers and vendors to analyze benefits utilization, identify trends, and suggest improvements or plan adjustments.
- Oversee open enrollment, including HRIS configuration, testing, communication, and data audits across multiple vendor systems.
- Support the HR team in resolving complex benefits and HRIS issues.
- Ensure accuracy in benefits documentation and related recruiting materials.
- Administer claims processing and assist with coverage issues.
- Develop audit procedures to review benefits and HRIS data.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR Management, or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of HRIS experience; benefits administration experience preferred.
- Preferred certifications : SHRM, Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP).
- Project development and management experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, preferably UKG Ready, and knowledge of HR laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, ERISA).
- Strong understanding of federal / state compliance requirements for benefit plans (e.g., ACA, COBRA).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and proficient in Microsoft Windows programs.
- Effective time management and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
