The Role :
This position is for someone who has mechanical and handyman skills.
Job specifications are as follows
Basic to advanced knowledge and the ability to repair, maintain and troubleshoot :
- Flooring
- Carpeting
- Painting
- Plastering
- Drywall
- Wall coverings
- Appliances
- Windows
- Doors
Advanced knowledge and ability to repair, maintain and troubleshoot :
- Electrical
- Domestic water plumbing
- Sewage plumbing
- Gas plumbing
- Boilers
- HVAC (refrigerant evacuation, recovery and charging inclusive of brazing)
Necessary certifications :
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling / recovery Type 1 and 2.
- EPA Universal certificate is a plus
- FDNY G-60 (Torch Use) Must be obtained within a timely manner
- FDNY F-60 (Fire Guard for Torch Use) Must be obtained within a timely manner
This position will also require the capability to perform front of house contractor / tenant liaison meetings and / or discussions regarding the above outlined topics to best serve the tenants of a high end residential community.
