Position Overview :

Brooksource Engineering Services is seeking four Expert Maintenance Technicians to support our pharmaceutical manufacturing partner in the Durham, NC area. This is a 12-month contract opportunity focused on providing maintenance expertise in a clean room environment supporting parenteral manufacturing department- including fillers, autoclaves, parts cleaners, inspection equipment, isolators, and more.

In this role you will be provide maintenance expertise to service, repair, and maintain pharmaceutical process manufacturing equipment in a GMP regulated setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform timely and efficient preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve equipment uptime, line efficiency, and increase overall equipment effectiveness in a production environment by condition monitoring, troubleshooting, and assisting in engineering changes.
• Possess good mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair equipment while following department regulations.
• Prioritize safety and adhere to all applicable safety procedures and practices.
• Conduct and document preventive maintenance activities per provided instructions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to servo motors, HMIs, sensors, and other electro-mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and resolve machine issues such as excessive vibration, temperature anomalies, bearing failures, and performance degradation.
• Operate precision alignment equipment (roma-align, lasers, etc.)
• Repair and overhaul equipment including gearboxes, pumps, blowers, fans, and drives, ensuring proper tolerances and alignment.
• Accurately document maintenance actions in the CMMS system.
• Assist in areas outside of primary responsibility and develop additional technical skills as needed.
