CAD Engineer, full time, 100% onsite in Fife, WA for a contract role lasting through January 2025, possibly temp to hire depending on the individual, paying $21.00 / hr.

Position Overview : Support the materials management team by utilizing CAD software to create and manage detailed designs, layouts, and documentation.

This role involves collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate materials specifications and availability.

Key Responsibilities :

• CAD Design : Create and modify CAD drawings and models for materials used in production, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Materials Management : Assist in the procurement, inventory management, and tracking of materials, ensuring timely availability for projects.
• Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, production, and project management teams to understand material requirements and provide accurate CAD documentation.
• Documentation : Maintain up-to-date records of materials specifications, drawings, and changes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and accessible.
• Quality Control : Conduct regular reviews of materials and CAD drawings to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
• Support : Provide technical support and guidance to team members on CAD-related issues and materials specifications.

Qualifications :

• Associate degree in Materials Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and experience with 3D modeling.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic understanding of materials specifications and industry standards.
• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is a plus.
