Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Division Director to lead our Advanced Manufacturing, Fabrication, and Calibration team within Facilities & Site Services.

Our team works a 9x80 schedule supporting our various sitewide facilities in Idaho Falls.

Responsibilities Include :

Manage complex departments or divisions with multiple functional disciplines / occupations. Develop and establish operational policies within area managed.

May participate in strategy development for corporate function. Requires detailed functional expertise and broad company knowledge.

  • Manage activities through second or third level managers. Manage professional employees and subordinate managers from multiple disciplines.
  • Responsible for the effective operation of activities of major significance to the organization.
  • May manage a complex program, regardless of size, that has a critical impact on the directorate or laboratory.
  • Accountable for division budget which may be broad and have far reaching impact on the business segment.
  • Ensure that budgets, schedules, and performance standards are realistically set and attained.
  • Responsible for multiple functions, organizations, locations, departments, and / or technical disciplines.
  • Participate in the development of overall objectives and long-term goals of the division and the directorate.
  • Establish and administer operational objectives, policies, procedures, and work plans, and delegates assignments to subordinates.
  • Develop, modify, and execute company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have companywide effect.
  • Interact regularly with lower and / or senior management on matters concerning several functional areas, department, and / or customers.
  • Apply knowledge to influence other stakeholders on desired departmental outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience OR Master's degree and 8 years of experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of management experience.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

Preferred Experience :

  • Experience leading a multidisciplinary workforce, including multiple levels of management as well as a combination of represented (union) and non-represented technicians who are spread across multiple geographical locations.
  • Experience with engineered drawings and manufacturing processes.

Job Information :

  • The target pay range for this position is $165,798 - $236,238 annually. The full pay range is $121,920 - $316,992. At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
  • You are required to show a demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
  • TDP : This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
