Freelance Content Creator & Strategy

We’re looking to hire a Freelance Sr. Content Creator & Strategist for our Fortune 500 financial service client focusing on the credit card travel & rewards space.

• This role is hybrid 3x a week in NYC
• Length : 6 months
• Hourly Pay : $60 - $68

You’ll join the Design and Customer Experience (DCE) Travel Team to design strategy for copy / content targeting credit card customers.

Responsibilities :

• You will partner with product, design, customer service, research and technology teams to create on-line consumer marketing campaigns, promotions, digital email content for digital travel and bookings.
• Create and lead the content strategy, discovery, auditing. and email template process on large projects and develop documentation that communicates the user experience, business strategy.
• Build a shared vision with multiple departments across the organization (including IT and Business Sponsors) to gain support for strategic initiatives.
• Provide copy direction for customer content strategy team, graphic designers, copywriters through creative briefs.
• Develop content and strategy to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Participate in customer research to understand customer needs and behaviors, identify and incorporate data (research findings, analytics) into content strategy.
• Deliver content components (UI language, product education, etc.) and lead content governance and approvals process.
• Contribute to content systems (standards, voice and tone, messaging, and accessibility libraries).

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5 - 7 years experience designing e-commerce content, flow maps, content modeling email audits
• Enterprise Client or Agency Experience Required. Industry verticles : travel, education, rewards.
• Experience collaborating within Design Teams (with Product Designers, UX Researchers, Content Designers) and Product Managers, and Engineers.
• Strong portfolio of work.
• Experience working with brand and copy standards, including style, voice and tone.
• Confident when presenting work to cross-functional Directors.
• Advocate for Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design practices.

• To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
