Summary :
As an Machinist at, you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating and programming computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-precision components.
You will work under the guidance of experienced machinists and receive on-the-job training to further develop your skills and expertise.
Responsibilities :
- Set up, load, and operate CNC machines according to job specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate machining.
- Write and modify CNC programs using G-code or CAM software.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor machine operations to detect and address any issues or deviations.
- Conduct quality checks and measurements to ensure parts meet required specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Maintain a clean digital file archive
- Work with the team on keeping machine templates up to date
Basic Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Microsoft word and Excel
- years of CNC machine operation and programming is preferred. Either industry or technical college experience is acceptable.
- Strong knowledge of G-code and CAM software.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to set up fixturing using standard fixture hardware
- Ability to design custom fixtures
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced machinists.
Compensation :
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
