Our esteemed immigration law firm in Phoenix is seeking a skilled and dedicated Immigration Paralegal to join our team. This is a remote position with the possibility of periodic in-person office meetings.

Based on experience and qualifications, we offer a competitive pay range of $20 - $35 per hour.

Responsibilities :

  • Assisting attorneys with preparing and filing family-based petitions, employment-based petitions, and / or business visas.
  • Managing and organizing electronic client files with attention to detail and maintaining the accuracy of all relevant documentation.
  • Utilizing online software and programs effectively to streamline workflow and enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough research on immigration laws and procedures to support case preparation.
  • Preparing and drafting legal documents, including affidavits, support letters, and immigration-related forms, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Maintaining regular and effective communication with our office team via videoconference and other platforms during office hours.
  • Providing timely updates to clients and the team on the progress of their cases, ensuring that all parties are informed and supported.
  • Demonstrating resourcefulness in finding creative solutions to complex immigration cases.
  • Collaborating effectively with attorneys and other paralegals, fostering a positive and cohesive team environment.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing online software and programs commonly used in the legal profession.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Availability to communicate and collaborate with our office team during office hours via videoconference and other platforms.
  • Positive mindset, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness in finding solutions and overcoming challenges.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete assigned tasks.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, with approximately 4-8 hours per day, as agreed upon beforehand, to ensure completion of assigned work.

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : $21.05 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours : 40 per week (However, we are flexible)
