Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation, particularly in earth-moving and restoration projects.

This role is critical for preparing detailed cost estimates and ensuring the successful planning and execution of various projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects, including landfill expansions, site work, highway and bridge projects, and utility installations.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to provide precise material and labor cost assessments.
• Prepare detailed proposals and cost breakdowns for clients, clearly outlining the scope of work and project timelines.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure estimates align with project requirements and budget constraints.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather essential information for accurate estimations.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and negotiate contracts.
• Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary to reflect changes in scope or unexpected conditions.
• Ensure all estimation practices adhere to industry standards and company policies.

Qualifications :

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry.
• Extensive knowledge of earth moving, restoration, landfill work, site development, highway and bridge expansion, and utility installations.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a strong ability to develop accurate and detailed cost estimates.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
