Robert Half is seeking a Sr. Accountant for our client located in the East Windsor, NJ area. You will be responsible for :
Responsibilities :
- Review and approve accounts payable and accounts receivable activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries and transactions are accurate.
- Produce comprehensive financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and statements of cash flow.
- Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies, analyze trends, and provide insights.
- Review tenant leases to ensure they are comprehensive and in line with company standards and policies.
- Respond to tenant inquiries in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
- Handle common area maintenance billings effectively and accurately.
- Regularly update work papers and other related files and records.
- Coordinate with the property management department to develop and manage budgets, considering the financial impact on both tenants and the company.
Requirements :
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proficient in the use of accounting software; knowledge of Yardi software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively with tenants and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
