Responsibilities :

• Develop and produce detailed construction plans and documents using AutoDesk or Bentley design software(s)
• Conduct studies, prepare reports, and create technical specifications, regulatory permits, and construction estimates
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure project success
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to enhance project outcomes
• Implement innovative roadway design strategies to optimize user experience and safetyEssential

Job Functions :

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field from an accredited school
• Licensed Professional Engineer in MN or with the ability to obtain MN licensure within 6 months
• 4+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer in transportation design
• Proven proficiency in AutoDesk or Bentley design software(s)
• Strong work ethic, enthusiastic attitude, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines

Skills :

• Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other design software(s)
• Extensive knowledge of transportation design standards and best practices
• Experience in developing construction plans, technical specifications, and regulatory permits
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
