Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Contracts Manager to support a Department of Defense (DoD) Strategic Capabilities Office program in Chantilly, Virginia.
Clearance Requirement : TS / SCI
Responsibilities :
- Preparing and administering terms and conditions of DoD Research & Development (R&D) contracts
- Support planning, programming, budgeting & execution (PPBE) to allocate resources to provide capabilities to support SCO program needs
- Support and advise the Program Manager and stakeholders in regards to acquisition strategies
- Develop PPBE documents from DoD 5000.02 and relevant DoD policies
- Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor design / milestone reviews to assess progress, risks, and issues to achieve requirements
- Prepare required contract file documentation per FAR, DFARS, and other policies
- Interface with R&D team and support portfolio management of weapon system projects
Qualifications :
- Must have an active TS / SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study
- 10+ years of acquisition and program management experience within the military and or government field
- Experience interfacing with acquisition offices
- Experience with program management
- Experience with weapon systems programs is a plus
Compensation :
- Pay range : $170,000 - $195,000 (based on years of experience)
