Job Description :
Apex Systems is looking for a Data Scientist for one of our large clients in Cincinnati, OH. If you are interested in any Data Scientist opportunities, please email Nicole Mulkey at emailprotected .
Ideal candidates will have the following :
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a data scientist / analyst or engineer
- Experience with several data analysis and data science tools and techniques, such as, but not limited to : Python, Pandas, R, R Shiny, SQL, Tableau, Machine Learning, Regression, Signal Processing, and Git.
Must be local to Cincinnati & open to being in-office 3-5 days per week.
Responsibilities :
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a data scientist / analyst or engineer; new graduates with a strong Python programming / data science background are also considered.
- With a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Demonstrate past experience with several data analysis and data science tools and techniques, such as, but not limited to : Python, Pandas, R, R Shiny, SQL, Tableau, Machine Learning, Regression, Signal Processing, and Git.
- Experience delivering on data science projects using predictive technologies, data mining, image processing, and / or text mining.
- Familiarity with data pipelines and data engineering infrastructure development.
- Familiarity with working in a cloud-based technology stack.
- Familiarity with advanced machine learning, deep learning, or Generative AI is a plus.
- Self-motivated, strong communication skills, and ability to translate complex methods and results to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented to keep track of and understand the working of electromechanical system test data is a plus.
- Experience in the medical device business is a plus.
