Purpose :
You will develop a portfolio of client engagements from the initial relationship through the business development process, and the ongoing management and growth of the portfolio.
You will have revenue and margin responsibility. You will work with clients and faculty to sell, design, and deliver custom executive education programs.
You will report to the Chief Executive of Executive Education.

Responsibilities*
Business Development and Program Design (50%)
- Establish client relationships to increase growth in Executive Education's custom portfolio.
- Consult with corporate learning and business leaders to understand their business strategy and talent needs.
- Write proposals, develop budgets, manage RFP process, win new client contracts.
- Assess organizational development needs of clients and collaborate with Faculty to develop, design, and deliver learning solutions for clients.
- Direct program delivery : Serve as program director together with faculty director with support from program managers and coordinators to ensure excellent project execution.
Client Relationship Management (25%)
- Deepen and expand business with current clients : Maintain relationships with key clients to stay on top of their evolving needs and work with them to design and implement solutions.
- Manage portfolio of clients and programs to provide growth, satisfaction, and service support.
- Identify, research and help clients address their business needs.
- Identify service improvements and solicit client input and feedback.
- Provide strategies to preserve client engagement.
- Analyze and recommend appropriate service options for specialized needs.
Lead Generation (20%)
- Develop acquisition strategy, execution, and analysis.
- Cultivate prospective relationships by initiating and conducting follow-up communications.
- Develop events and conferences to attract prospective and existing clients.
Special Assignment (5%)
Participate in projects relevant to the promotion and improvement of Executive Education / Ross School of Business including special projects.
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
- 8+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in a corporate learning, executive education, enterprise sales, or higher education environment.
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and practices.
- Experience using prospecting tools (i.e. LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo) to create opportunities and enhance engagement.
- Demonstrated managerial experience.
- Experience selling complex solutions by using industry trends and company data to present tailored value proposals.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Experience managing financial operations.
