Position : Bookkeeper

Remaining 2 hours flexible or at least 4 of 8 hours per day between 9amEST - 5pmEST and 2 of 8 hours 8pmEST - 10pmEST. Remaining 2 hours are flexible

Holidays : New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Christmas Day and 5 Filipino holidays of your choosing.

Vacation / Sick : 80 hours (10 days) total, to be used at your discretion for vacation, sick, or personal days. Certain advance notice is required.

Accrued at 1.54 hours per week.

Salary : 1000-1250 USD / month (the salary will depend on the result of the interviews, assessments, and client's approval)

Our company uses a ton of different software platforms for our various business functions, and we spend a lot of time generating and consolidating different reports.

Duties and Responsibilities

Weekly download of data

Upload in central data

Ad Hoc projects

Data entry

Loading purchase invoices into QB

Reviewing sales invoices, and reconciliations

Minimum Qualifications :

2+ years bookkeeping experience. 1+ year(s) in Quickbooks

Skills :

Quantitative skills

Critical thinking / Ability to understand the purpose of work being performed

Tools :

Strong with Microsoft Excel

Experience with Quickbooks

Video conferencing ability and strong internet connection. All of our systems are cloud / online based

Good English communication skills

Ideal

Years of experience : 5+ years preferred. 2+ years in Quickbooks. Some previous restaurant experience is preferred.

Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred

Meticulous with data / numbers

Attention to detail and ability to grasp concepts quickly

Confidence to ask questions and let superior(s) know when more explanation or discussion is needed

Ability to stick to and meet deadlines

Can be conversational and friendly with customers and vendors. Anticipated mostly through email, but could evolve into phone conversations.
