Responsibilities
- As the Logistics Sr. Project Manager in a context of strong business growth, you will directly collaborate with the Vice President of Logistics to oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of key logistics projects that will support the TBG logistics and distribution roadmap
- Key projects will include (but not be limited to) the opening of regional distribution centers (3PL outsourced), the optimization of current in-house distribution center operations, the optimization of the US transportation network, and the contribution to the roll-out of any new warehouse management systems
- You will also establish a strong reputation and build relationships with colleagues, as well as with external partners (3PL, consultants)
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of a new, 3PL operated regional distribution center, including all related strategic aspects (vendor assessment, DC location and dimension, workflows, systems, budgeting, training)
- Closely collaborates with the US corporate IT team on the planning, studies, and implementation of a new and / or upgraded version of the existing warehouse management system
- Acts as a business partner to the US corporate IT team on the planning and roll-out of any new global supply-chain ERP systems
- Identifies and mitigates risks, and drives continuous improvement throughout the supply chain for all other assigned projects
- Develops SOP documentation and reporting tools / KPIs to regularly track and monitor logistics projects and performance
- Partners with the Finance team on assigned projects budget planning and P&L accountability
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 6-10 Years Minimum of Related Experience in Supply Chain
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills, and ability to collaborate efficiently with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work both independently (multitask with little supervision) and in a team environment (cross-departments / functions)
- Ability to work under pressure, to anticipate and to adapt
- Strong experience with logistics projects management; in particular, deep knowledge of various supply chain systems (Warehouse Management System, Order Management System), how they interact and how to improve flows
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Customer service mindset
- Previous experience at a CPG preferred
- Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- PMP certification desired but not required
