Senior Business Analyst
Primary Job Focus - this role will require the analyst to help design and manage a large and detailed analysis of several key financial datasets across multiple geographic regions and jurisdictions, leveraging a large array of Subject Matter Experts to obtain the necessary information.
Experience with Cost Accounting and Accounting practices in general is a plus. In addition, strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial given the complexity of healthcare cost structures.
The ideal candidate will :
- Exhibit knowledge and awareness as relates to calculating, assigning, analyzing and monitoring costs associated with healthcare services, including medical procedures, treatments, and patient care.
- Understand and be comfortable investigating and identifying cost drivers within the healthcare organization.
- Show ease in collaborating with medical professionals and administrators to determine accurate cost components.
- Be analytically curious.
- Feel comfortable with big data discovery and coming up with recommendations based on findings.
- Have experience with business rule engines (data structures, hierarchies, building and designing).
- Understand basic SQL queries.
- Be adept at building plans for validation and impact analysis and executing on those plans.
- Comfortable navigating detail and the big picture.
