Payroll & Benefits Specialist

Salary : $45,000 - $55,000

Essential Job Functions

• Accurately processes biweekly and monthly disbursement payroll through ADP Workforce Now; including garnishments, benefits, and taxes consistent with federal, and state wage and hour laws.
• Timeclock knowledge enrolling, creating credentials, manage punches, import timecards, assist managers with entry.
• Manage effective internal / external relationships and build positive relationships with VP of Human Resources & Payroll, CFO, and restaurant leadership.
• Actively look for new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.

Special Projects, reports & other related duties & tasks as required.

• Assist with payroll system issues, and unemployment claim responses, research and correct any payroll errors.
• Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database. Ensure all team member information, documents and I9s are in compliance.
• Verify accuracy of tips, timesheet hourly and dollar amount totals, add data required for, 401k, FLMA, etc.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3+ years of Payroll experience required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, payroll policies and procedures, familiarity with government regulations relative to employment, familiar with benefits and insurance contracts.
• Ability to effectively communicate with different departments and leadership.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, with expertise in Excel.
• Experience with payroll software, ADP Workforce Now knowledge preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
• Available to work Full-time, Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm in Palm Beach Gardens office.
