Automation Controls Technician - PLC Programmer
Role is on-site in Oxnard.

SUMMARY : Responsible for automation activities in conjunction with maintenance and reliability team to increase plant productivity and capacity.
Improves work efficiencies and increase plant performance. Performs work with a constant awareness of improving processes.
Develops and implements reports, and other tracking tools from control systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Programs PLC’s, HMIs, & Barcode scanners to make changes and improvements
- Proficient with RS Logix 5000, Productivity Suite, C-More, Ignition, FactoryTalk, and MS Office Suite
- Responsible for integrating current and future automated production equipment in highly regulated environments
- Improves products, processes, applications, and components to meet agreed-upon objectives
- Directs the work of third-party vendors and / or partners to meet contract specified deliverables, performance, or business objectives
- Responsible for scripting software code used in manufacturing tests or to program an instrument used for production of product.
