Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform mold and die repair and maintenance
- Assemble and disassemble tools and dies, including inserts and cavities
- Build replacement tooling to tolerance per print
- Set up and operate Tool Room equipment (lathes, milling machines, and grinders) holding close tolerances
- Machine new parts
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a tool and die shop, Journeyman orequivalent highly preferred
- Read and interpret mold prints
- Have a practical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving
- Proficient in the use of measuring devices (calipers andmicrometers)
- Understand mold construction and mechanical function
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Must be able to work 3rd shift (10 : 00 pm - 6 : 30 am)
