You Are :

Most software developers, engineers, and architects get to build software systems. Very few get to say with a straight face : "I'm reinventing banking.

Or hospitality, or logistics, or insurance. We're combining technology, industry expertise, and entrepreneurial experience to massively disrupt our clients' core businesses.

We partner with our clients to propel them into the future and to help create better products and experiences for everyone.

We're doing this by leveraging the power of patterns (Anti-Corruption Layering, Strangler fig, Microservices, Event Sourcing, etc) and technologies (Kafka, Solace, Change Data Capture, Node.

js, Go, Containerization, PaaS) to build cloud-native solutions for the enterprise based on modern event driven architectures.

Our team is deeply hands-on, highly technical, and prides itself in being battle hardened, lead-from-the-front technology thought leaders.

The ability to take complex ideas, synthesize them for common understanding, while maintaining a focus on details is a must for this role.

In this role as an Engineering Systems Architect, you will be the lynch pin to convert human ideas into delivered production functionality.

Our practitioners in this space are advocates for modern engineering practices back by hands-on experience. You will be called on to play DevOps roles designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting pipelines one day.

You will be challenged to optimize observability and provide input on performance issues as an SRE the next. You will be challenged to raise your voice in support of modern software engineering practices to keep humans and machines focused on their strengths and remove bureaucracy.

While not all of these hats are worn at once, successful practitioners must have peripheral vision to view a wide landscape and be willing to direct their energy to where it is needed most.
