Interactive Media Designer

Responsibilities

• Create, design, develop, and maintain a broad range of digital media products (e.g., interactive animations, web pages / sites, narrated visuals with video content, and mobile products) to present and clarify complex subject matter to diverse audiences, including senior Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) management, senior Intelligence Community (IC) officials, and senior USG officials.
• Facilitate and guide communication with Government customers to define project scope and requirements, identify and clarify customer expectations for content and style, and develop production timelines.
• Apply experience and techniques to design interactive multimedia products.
• Manage and prioritize deliverables based on the department's prioritization framework. Effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize work without missing critical deadlines.
• Familiarization with customer needs, mission, and organization chart in order to understand production priorities
• Test and review products for technical quality control to include UI / UX.
• Ensure products conform to production standards, and comply with processes and procedures, including copyright laws, internal workflow procedures, and production standards established by the Sponsor organization.
• Attend meetings related to interactive media design and development as instructed by the Deputy PM and GTM(s) or Government customers
• Oversee day-to-day maintenance of micro sites, landing pages, and various email templates, and tracks and reports progress until completion (SC only).

Mandatory Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of professional experience in professional web development, content management, publication design, and graphic design is acceptable.
• Minimum of four (4) years of professional experience with using interactive multimedia design / development specialty software and production methodology for print, animation, and graphic and / or multimedia programming / authoring to include HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and XML or more modem tools and languages to supp011 advance development.
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience with web application standards, content management systems (Joomla), user interface layout, knowledge of how to integrate graphics, audio, and video into websites.

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience using InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite / Creative Cloud, and Photoshop.
• Portfolio samples highlighting knowledge of UI / UX, Content Management System (CMS) customization and responsive design Desired Qualifications :
• Associates degree or higher in graphic design, multimedia design, interactive web design / development / programming.
• Two or more years of professional experience with video editing and production program.
• Experience with Angular, Python, Bootstrap
• Active TS / SCI with Polygraph
