job summary : Responsibilities :

Responsibilities :

• Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions using precision tools and equipment.
• Install and secure glass panels, windows, doors, and other glass components using appropriate techniques and materials.
• Fabricate and install aluminum and metal framing systems to hold glass panels in place.
• Remove old or broken glass and prepare surfaces for new installations.
• Apply weather seals, caulking, and other sealants to ensure water and air tightness.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure accurate and timely execution of glass-related tasks.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials.
• Operate machinery and equipment such as glass cutters, drills, grinders, and lift equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform repairs and replacements on existing glass structures as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used, work performed, and hours worked on each project.
• Provide exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail to ensure the final glass installations meet the highest standards of quality and aesthetics.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, new techniques, and materials to continuously improve your skills and stay competitive in the field.
