Job Title : RN Clinical Nurse - Oncology Nights Job Specialty : RN Registered / Licensed - Inpatient Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Less than 1 year License : Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : - Ability to read, write, and speak English- Basic computer skills- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills- Excellent customer service skills- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment Job Description : Be a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team ensuring high-quality and safe patient care.
- Practice within a clinical environment supported by a shared governance model.- Perform nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Use evidence-based practice and analytical skills to coordinate individualized care.- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care, adapting service delivery for diverse populations.
- Engage patients and significant others in care through effective communication and teaching.- Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care.
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, promoting a respectful clinical environment.- Participate in performance improvement and support shared governance.
- Complete professional competency assessments and mandatory education.- Serve as a preceptor or mentor for colleagues and students.
- Promote evidence-based practice, research, and nursing performance improvement.- Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum.
- Collaborate in developing protocols and procedures to achieve best practice outcomes.- Support efficient and effective use of resources.
- Comply with all health system policies, standards, and code of conduct.- Perform other duties as assigned.
