Chenega Naswik International has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Training Instructor. In this role, you will support the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) and serve as the primary instructor for contract personnel.
Responsibilities
What You'll Get To Do :
- Ensure a favorable environment for learning is provided.
- Deliver training classes or develop training plans for security courses, as necessary,
- Prepares and executes training drills and scenarios designed to evaluate the effectiveness of security personnel and procedures.
- Develop law enforcement training programs.
- Design, prepare, and order educational aids and materials and plan forward collective and individual training for Officers.
Qualifications
You'll Bring These Qualifications :
- 3-5 years of relevant instructional experience.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Possess one or more of the following certifications : Navy NEC 9501 I Antiterrorism Training Supervisor, Navy NEC 9502 Instructor, or NEC 9518 Naval Leadership Development Program; or,
- Documentation of small arms instruction certification.
- Current on certifications for all needed weapons of instruction.
- Ability to pass all physical, psychological and media requirements.
- Documented completion of 3 semester hours of post-secondary school education in Instructional, Methodology, Training and Development, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or related course(s).
Certified as a range safety officer
Certified to teach CPR / First Aid, AED.
Active EMT Certification.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Ability to interact professionally with government stakeholders.
