Job Title : Quality Assurance Supervisor
Salary : $75,000 per year

Position Overview :
The QA Supervisor will oversee the quality assurance activities within our food manufacturing plant, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
This role requires a strong understanding of food safety practices, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for quality.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervision & Leadership :
- Lead and manage the QA team, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure effective quality control processes.
- Foster a culture of quality and safety throughout the plant.
- Quality Control Oversight :
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulations (e.g., FDA, HACCP, SQF).
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, equipment, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Documentation & Reporting :
- Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities, including inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and present reports on quality metrics, trends, and issues to management.
- Problem Solving :
- Investigate quality-related issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with production and other departments to address quality concerns and improve processes.
- Training & Development :
- Develop and conduct training programs for staff on quality assurance protocols and food safety practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance methodologies (HACCP, SQF, GMP).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
