Knife River has an immediate opening for a Quality Control Technician in Beaverton, OR!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :

  • Sample and test aggregate, asphalt and concrete in accordance with specifications and standards
  • Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed
  • Other duties assigned as needed

Compensation :

The wage range for this position is $$ Minimum Qualifications : - Quality Control experience preferred, but not required. Training will be provided

  • Good math, record keeping and problem solving ability
  • Computer spreadsheet experience preferred
  • Engineering and statistics background helpful, but not necessary
  • Ability to study, take and pass QC certification exams with adequate time and training provided
  • Must be able to lift material samples of 75 lbs. approx. 10 to 15 times per day and on occasion more depending on duties required
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Strong communication skills and positive interactions with a variety of customers required
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical / functional exam and drug screen
