Representative Duties :
- Greeting the public at the ATTC building
- Answering phones
- Mail distribution
- Assist with the facilitation of events at the Del Rosa site.
- Clerical support, data entry
- Create and organize files, documents, and binders.
- Gather and prepare materials / items for tabling events in the community and at the Del Rosa site.
- Completes department-specific projects.
- Create a database associated with the assigned area (apprenticeship programs, employer contacts, community partner contacts, etc.)
- Assist with small research task.
- Assist consumers with applying to each college.
- Provides support to the assigned area during presentations.
- Follow up on the community interest log and direct parties to the appropriate area within the district.
- Develop and keep a community resource list updated for the Del Rosa site.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
- Student must have in possession of a Federal Work Study award letter for the 2023 / 2024 academic year or be eligible for federal work-study funding.
- Student cannot fall below half-time (6+ units) during their employment under the FWS program.
- Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
- Student must have a minimum of 2.0 GPA.
- Student must have a current TB.
Desired Qualifications :
- Ability to follow directions in order to carry out the duties as assigned.
- Familiarity with various equipment / tools used in the program and / or have completed some courses in the specific program or related fields
- Student must be available to work 15 hours per week in 3 to 5 hours blocks of time.
- Ability to work with a team or independently.
- Familiarity with various equipment / tools used in the department.
