As a new HR Generalist at Mel Trotter Ministries, your day-to-day will be a blend of excitement and engagement! Expect to dive deep into employee relations, assisting with inquiries and ensuring everyone feels valued and heard.
To thrive as an HR Generalist at Mel Trotter Ministries, you'll need a dynamic blend of skills. A strong foundation in human resources practices is crucial, alongside expertise in personnel management and employee relations.
Familiarity with HR technology platforms is essential, as you'll maintain personnel files and administer our robust benefits program.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for tracking data, will keep you ahead of the game. Strong communication skills are a must for executing employee onboarding, gathering staff feedback, and managing stay and exit interview programs.
You'll also need to be a problem solver, capable of navigating in-house investigations and performance management effectively.
Collaborating with your team to lead the annual evaluation cycle is key to success. If you possess the drive to support grant submissions for training funds while ensuring our culture thrives, you'll be a perfect fit for this role.
