What You’ll Do :

As a Caregiver in Laguna Beach, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of seniors by providing exceptional personal care and companionship.

You’ll help clients maintain their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort in their own homes.

Here are the key responsibilities you'll take on :

Assist with Personal Care : Help clients with essential daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

You’ll ensure their physical well-being is maintained with dignity and respect.

Provide Companionship : Engage clients in meaningful activities, conversations, and hobbies.

Whether it’s reading together, going for walks, or playing games, your presence will brighten their day and combat loneliness.

Support with Daily Living Activities (ADLs / IADLs) : Assist with tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and errands like grocery shopping.

Your role will help make their daily routines easier and more enjoyable.

Monitor Client Well-being : Pay close attention to any changes in your client's health, behavior, or mood, and communicate those updates to family members and the office.

Your attention to detail will ensure that any potential issues are addressed early on.

• Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment : Ensure that the client’s living space is tidy and safe, reducing the risk of accidents or injuries.
• Transportation Assistance : Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or other necessary errands if needed, ensuring they can remain active and engaged in their community.
• Follow Care Plans : Work closely with our team to follow detailed care plans tailored to each client’s specific needs.

You’ll collaborate with family members and office staff to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered.

Build Positive Relationships : Foster strong bonds with both clients and their families by being a reliable, compassionate caregiver.

You’ll become a trusted part of their daily lives, making a meaningful impact every day.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related healthcare field preferred
• Sympathetic attitude towards the care and dignity of our clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of car insurance

Compensation and Benefits :

• Hourly rate : $18 to $20, with OT rates up to $30 per hour! Paid biweekly.
