Job Title : Interim Technology Leader
Hourly Rate $100hr+
Job Summary :
The Interim Technology Leader will play a pivotal role in transforming the Core Financial Services teams from Linear Operations Model to a Product & Services model.
This role requires a seasoned technology leader with a strong background in financial services and a proven track record of transitioning IT operations to a product / service-oriented model.
The successful candidate will anchor with leaders in each key area of IT operations, ensuring strong accountability and an end-to-end view of processes.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership & Strategy : Lead the transformation of the organization from a Linear Operations Model to a Product & Services model.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement strategic initiatives. Provide technical leadership and direction to IT operations teams.
Operational Excellence : Ensure seamless transition from traditional IT operations to a product / service-oriented model.
Oversee the end-to-end IT operations, including Network, Mainframe, Compute, Storage, Database, and Middleware. Implement best practices for IT service management and operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management : Engage with key stakeholders to understand business needs and align IT services accordingly. Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners to drive collaboration and innovation.
- Technical Expertise : Provide deep technical expertise in one or more areas : Network, Mainframe, Compute, Storage, Database, Middleware.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Communication & Reporting : Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prepare and present reports on IT operations performance and transformation progress.
Qualifications :
Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Extensive experience in financial services and IT operations. Proven experience in transitioning from traditional IT operations to a product / service-oriented model.
- Technical Skills : Strong technical depth in Network, Mainframe, Compute, Storage, Database, Middleware. Experience with IT service management frameworks (, ITIL).
- Leadership & Communication : Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Strong, effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with cloud technologies and digital transformation.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
