ShelterCare is a non-profit that believes in "housing first", we meet people where they are. The Assistant Program Manager collaborates with the Program Manager in the daily operations of the PSH program.
This includes staff supervision, attending community meetings / engagements, and develop a full understanding of PSH programs contacts.
ShelterCare offers a starting wage of $24.09 to $25.22 / per hour depending on a number of factors.

ShelterCare is a social services agency that is directed by a board of community volunteers . We have multiple programs in the Eugene / Springfield area.
We offer a range of housing solutions combined with wraparound services for families and community members who are homeless or on the verge of homelessness.
This includes adults who are homeless, have been homeless in the past, have a serious mental illness, or a combination of these.

Required
- This position requires bachelors in a behavioral sciences field or a combination of education, training, and / or work experience in a behavioral sciences field equivalent to a minimum of three years;
- Must have leadership experience and experience working with vulnerable populations; Capable of developing supervisory experience and skill under direction of the Program Manager;
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows OS, Word and possess excellent computer skills needed to document in clinical records;
- Requires 2 years of supervisory / management experience in a social services environment; Ability to drive agency vehicles;
Ability to successfully pass a DHS background check
