JOB DESCRIPTION :

  • Identify, analyze and process rental damage claims on a timely basis.
  • Responsible for initial damage notification, within 48 hours of the machine’s return.
  • Communicate and schedule damage repairs with the corresponding supervisor.
  • Review quoting accuracy and obtain signed acknowledgement when available.
  • Manage rental damage variance to ensure maximum claim recovery.
  • Follow up with customers upon repair completion.
  • Collaborate with legal on repairs exceeding 15K.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the heavy equipment industry with progressive maintenance / repair supervisory experience and / or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and build relationships with various teams and management of all levels
  • Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills : both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft platforms.
  • Willingness to travel to branches and meet with customers, insurance companies or technical communicators when necessary.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to strategic objectives.
